It is with deep sorrow that the family of June Pyette (Blondin) announce her passing on December 17, 2023 at the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich after a lengthy illness. June was a cherished mother to her children, beloved wife and soul mate of Edward Pyette for 48 years. June is survived by her children Joyce (Peter), Gloria (Dave), Tom (Wenda), Terry (Viola) and Becky (George) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Tim. June is also survived by siblings Jim (Judy), Lloyd (Helen),Laurine (Andy), Penny (Dave) and their families. June is predeceased by her parents George and Ruby Blondin.  
June lived a wonderful life full of laughter and love for her family and everyone she met. Her lifelong service to the Royal Canadian Legion took her through ordinary member to zone to provincial officer. She held positions at all levels and was awarded the highest Legion award of the Palm Leaf. She was a devoted voluntary Bus Tour guide for 21 years running bus tours and programs for seniors.  
The family would like to thank the AMGH 1st floor doctors and nurses for their care during her final days. Also thanks to Harbour Hill Retirement Residence staff for their care and support while she lived with them. Funeral Service was held at the McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Goderich, on Saturday December 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm. with visitation from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. Refreshments followed at Harbour Hill Retirement Residence, Pearl Room at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund or Salvation Army are gratefully acknowledged by the family.
